Monitoring užívání žvýkacího tabáku u hráčů ledního hokeje

Název: Monitoring užívání žvýkacího tabáku u hráčů ledního hokeje. Cíle: Cílem je zjistit frekvenci, kauzalitu užívání žvýkacího tabáku u hráčů LH a jeho sportovně- sociální kontext. Proč je u hokejistů v poslední době tabák tak oblíbený. Metodika: Výzkum byl založený na dotazníkovém šetření. Dotazník tvořilo 22 otázek, respondenti měli vždy na výběr z několika možností, až na 3 otázky, které byly otevřené. Některé otázky vyžadovaly odpověď ANO/NE a u některých se dalo vybrat z několika možností. Otázky byly strukturovány od nejzákladnějších po více specifické. Jediná povinná otázka v dotazníku byla otázka číslo jedna. Pro respondenty, kteří vybrali možnost NE v první otázce, dotazník končil. Respondenti tedy měli možnost vynechávat otázky. Dotazníkové šetření bylo maximálně anonymizované a probíhalo přes internet. Jeho časová náročnost se pohybovala okolo 5 minut. Výsledky: Z výsledků vyplývá, že 35,2 % z 216 hokejistů užívá žvýkací tabák, a to poměrně ve velkém množství. Skoro 40 % z nich vyžvýká 7 a více sáčků za den, po jeho užití se cítí soustředění a uvolnění. Většina respondentů se s žvýkacím tabákem seznámilo kvůli lednímu hokeji a spoluhráčům. Is Swedish snus a preventive substitute for cigarettes?

This is a review paper on the usage of smokeless tobacco, snus. A narrative view of published papers and other date sources (for example, internet-base information) on snus use, use of other tobacco products, and changes in health status in Sweden and Norway. The snus consumption have increased substantially during the recent decades and today more than every fifth male adult uses snus daily in Norway and Sweden. Some of the publications made from snus are written in Scandinavia, and therefore some of the papers are directly translated from Scandinavian into English. It must be emphasized that this is not a study on snus, rather a review paper. This text will shortly be about the dramatic increase in snus usage among adults in Scandinavia, mainly Sweden and Norway the last decade and their short and longterm effects. In the recent times the tobacco industry has been active in developing and marketing new products that might be perceived as less harmful to health than typical cigarettes. At the same time, there has been an increasingly vigorous debate within the public health community over the most appropriate response to the new products being developed by the industry. Snus - nová forma tabákových výrobků

V bakalářské práci je řešen jeden ze sociálně patologických jevů, pojednává o tabákových výrobcích a jejich nové formě bezdýmného tabáku. V teoretické části je nejprve popsána problematika tabákových výrobků, životního stylu a jejich spotřeby obecně. Dále je pozornost zaměřena na bezdýmný tabák a jeho formy. V dalších kapitolách je popsána problematika nové formy výrobku SNUS, jeho druhy, právní aspekty, zdravotní rizika a distribuční cesty. V praktické části je využita metoda kvantitativního výzkumu. Cílem bylo uskutečnit dotazníkové šetření, při kterém byli osloveni respondenti (ženy) florbalových klubů ČFbU z Brna a okolí. Získaná data byla analyzována a vyhodnocována základními statistickými postupy.
